Our mission for our event is to bring awareness and bring hope to our community, highlighting the importance of having a support system and getting resources. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 123 Americans take their lives each day. Every year 44,965 people in America die by suicide. Suicide is preventable.
TEGO is a minority owned transportation service app, similar to Uber and Lyft, that allows a passenger to get a reliable driver to pick them up in just minutes with a simple click. It can be easily accessed from both Android and iOS devices.

Scott is currently a corporate banker with JP Morgan Chase with over 20+ years in banking focusing on various industries. Prior to JP Morgan Chase, Scott was at Citibank and Wells Fargo in addition to serving as CFO for a publicly traded energy company. Scott is actively involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society winning LLS' Man of the Year in 2017 and serving in various capacities including Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Board. Scott is an advocate for men's mental health and growth leading a men's group and speaking to men at various events. Scott's interests include working out, being with friends, and part-time modeling for Neal Hamil. Scott has a finance degree from Texas A&M and two children.
Willie Cruz, an esteemed figure in the realm of athletic performance, currently serves as the Athletic Performance Director for the Houston Rockets. With over a decade of experience spanning collegiate and professional levels, Willie's expertise is unmatched. His profound passion of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit has established him as a leader in the field of human betterment and athletic performance training. Willie is committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
Spencer Forman is a dynamic force in the realm of motivational speaking. He combines his deep spiritual insights with a vibrant energy to inspire and guide individuals towards a path of personal and spiritual growth. His approach goes beyond traditional speaking. Integrating fitness as well, he encourages you to be resilient with your health, and to stay positive. All vital in today’s challenging world. Spencer cherishes the joys of family life, including the blessing of he and his wife’s 2-year-old daughter. His personal journey of love, commitment, and faith profoundly influences his motivational speaking and fitness training, offering real-life examples of hope, perseverance, and the power of belief. As a fitness enthusiast, Spencer embodies the principles of physical well-being, understanding its role in fostering mental and spiritual strength. Tiffany Bittner is a dedicated healthcare leader with over 16 years of experience in emergency, trauma, and psychiatric nursing. Beginning her career at Ben Taub Emergency Center, she has held various leadership roles within the Harris Health System, Houston Methodist Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing: Leadership and Management and several certifications, including CPHQ, NE-BC, and PMH-BC. Currently, she serves as Director of Clinical Transformation and Innovation at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, where she leads the centers suicide care initiatives, which includes collaborating with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to implement best practice suicide care throughout the jail and organization. She is a published author and multi conference presenter on suicide care and also serves on the Texas Chapter Board of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Katie Thornton is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR-trained therapist, and the visionary founder of Flow Therapy, an AI-powered mental health platform designed to empower therapists and expand access to high-quality care. Holding licenses in nine states, Katie brings over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed therapy to individuals, families, and groups across diverse communities.
Her journey into mental health care was deeply personal. After losing her father to suicide as a teenager, Katie committed her life to transforming pain into purpose. That experience continues to fuel her mission: to make compassionate, personalized therapy more accessible, efficient, and equitable.
At Flow Therapy, Katie leads a team that merges clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology, including AI voice agents, blockchain-based consent management, and intelligent documentation tools. The platform reduces clinician burnout and streamlines insurance coordination while preserving the irreplaceable human connection at the heart of healing.
Katie specializes in treating depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and digital addictions. She is known for her strength-based, client-centered approach and her commitment to equity in behavioral health.
Beyond the therapy room, Katie is a recognized thought leader and advocate for mental health innovation. She has developed live grief programs for suicide loss survivors, collaborated with telehealth startups, and continues to mentor clinicians navigating the evolving landscape of digital care.
