Each June, Fashion Fitness Swim creates intentional spaces that center the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of men through conversation, education, storytelling, and community connection.
Our Men’s Health programming exists to help break stigma, increase visibility, and encourage men to prioritize their health in ways that feel approachable and real.

Fashion Fitness Swim extends beyond the runway through year-round digital storytelling campaigns designed to amplify real voices and create more visible conversations around mental health, healing, and personal growth.
Through photo campaigns, short-form video, speaker features, and community storytelling, we spotlight men and leaders who are using their voice, their journey, and their platform to create change. These campaigns help us reach beyond the event itself and continue the conversation with our broader community online and throughout the year.

WHY STORYTELLING MATTERS
When people see themselves reflected in a story, stigma begins to break. Our storytelling work helps normalize conversations around mental health by making them more visible, human, and relatable.

During The Month Of June Celebrated each year, Men’s Health Month brings awareness to the health issues all men face. Hosted by Men’s Health Network since 1992, the month is dedicated to enriching men’s health and wellness through a broad spectrum of national screening and educational campaigns.
The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men. It brings awareness to the health issues all men face. It gives the healthcare community the enhanced opportunity to enrich men’s health and wellness through a broad spectrum of national screening and educational campaigns.

🔹 FREE & OPEN to the community🔹

Locker Room Talks is conversation series designed to create safe, stigma-breaking dialogue around the topics men are often taught to keep inside. Our signature workshop and conversation series created to open up real dialogue around the topics men are often taught to keep inside. Through intimate, community-centered conversations, we explore topics such as:
• mental health • body image • fatherhood • emotional resilience • identity • healing • and the pressures men carry in silence
These sessions are designed to move beyond surface-level awareness and create spaces where men can feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak honestly.
This year, Fashion Fitness Swim proudly presents Live in Your Light, a theme rooted in authenticity, strength, healing, and the courage to be seen. Too often, men are taught to carry their struggles quietly. To be strong. To keep going. To say, “I’m good,” even when they’re not.
Live in Your Light is our invitation to change that.
It is about creating space for men to show up as their whole selves mentally, emotionally, and physically. A space where vulnerability is not viewed as weakness, where conversations about mental health feel approachable, and where no one has to struggle alone.
Through fashion, fitness, storytelling, and community, Fashion Fitness Swim uses culture to open conversations that aren’t always easy to start.
For us, living in your light doesn’t mean that life is always bright. It means having the courage to acknowledge the darker moments, ask for support, embrace who you are, and keep moving forward.
It means allowing yourself to heal, grow, and be heard.

Will Robertson joined us representing the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Southeast Texas Chapter, bringing an important voice to the conversation around suicide prevention and men’s mental health. His message reminds us why creating spaces for honest conversations, connection, and support can make a difference and why no one should have to struggle in silence. This year’s theme also honors those whose light continues to live through the people who loved them. As we continue our commitment to suicide prevention and men’s mental health, we hope Live in Your Light reminds every person who encounters FFS of something simple:
Local artist Ángel Quesada brought creativity and heart to Live in Your Light, sharing a message of courage, self-expression, and the importance of finding your own light. Through his art and personal story, Ángel reminds us that healing can take many forms and sometimes creativity gives us a voice when words cannot.
